I would like to get the Easy Check alarms displayed on a control screen. Is there an alarm output possibility in the Easy Check?
No, there is no alarm output in the Easy Check apart from the LED's. There will be a new Easy Check generation with extended features including an alarm output scheduled for 2004.
Is there a possibility to reset a false alarm without starting a new ‘teach in phase’?
You can reset a false alarm by a tap on the ‘teach in button’ for a short time < 1s. This way you return to the status before the alarm occurred and the green LED is blinking again. Pressing the ‘teach in button’ for about 4 seconds starts irrevocably a new ‘teach in phase’.
Is it possible to mount the Motion Guard on top of the Easy Check?
Because of stability reasons, we recommend, not to mount the Motion Guard on top of the Easy Check. You can order a flexible tube to connect the Motion Guard to the Easy Check and thus mount the Motion Guard with a separate mounting device.
Is it possible to monitor a slow turning machine (100rpm) with the Easy Check?
You can monitor your machine for bearing defects (please set switch 1 and 2 accordingly) and for temperature. It is not possible to monitor your slow turning machine (<120rpm) for unbalance and misalignment.
Where can I get a list of the alarm codes?
The alarm codes are listed on the manual which is added to the Easy Check. Additionally there is the possibility to download the manual from our homepage which also includes the list of alarm codes.
There is no adequate internal M8 screw thread on our machine to mount the Easy Check. What are the possibilities?
Please ask our sales department about the different adapters that are on stock. M8 to M10, M8 to G1/4, M8 to G1/8, M8 to plane adhesive adapter.
