Online monitoring and diagnosis
- Data collection, filtering, analysis and evaluation functions are provided by the FAG ProCheck itself
- Via analog and digital interfaces, characteristic values and alarms that were configured beforehand can be passed on to external systems
- The algorithms used extract relevant information from the measured data, enabling users to detect emerging damage in a machine in time so that they can initiate countermeasures
- Connection to a server via a serial interface, modem or TCP/IP
- If no connection to the server is possible for an extended period of time, the FAG ProCheck can store the data locally and transfer them the next time a connection is established
Modular design and flexibility
- The FAG ProCheck is suitable for monitoring both individual machines and entire plants
- Operators can start by installing the basic unit and extend the system, as required, to up to 16 sensor channels (plus several additional analog and digital channels)
- Via a network, a large number of FAG ProCheck units can be connected and managed in the same database
Analysis methods
- The FAG ProCheck uses field-proven analysis methods to obtain meaningful information from the recorded data
- Broadband monitoring in the time and frequency domain
- The frequency-selective monitoring function adjusts the filters automatically to the speed of the machine being monitored
