Application

• For deep groove ball bearings and angular contact ball bearings. Internal extractors are available in various sizes for bearing bores of up to ca. 70 mm.
• For bearings with a tightly fitted outer ring.
• The inner ring bore must be easily accessible.
• As the extraction force is transmitted via the rolling elements, the bearing may get damaged.

Operation

The gripping segments spread when the threaded spindle is tightened, and the lip of the jaws is pressed behind the bore of the bearing’s inner ring. The bearing is extracted by means of the threaded spindle. Internal extractors are suitable for small diameter ranges only.
