Trouble Shooting

Trouble Shooting is always a bit like private-investigating. Together with the customer our diagnosis experts work out the best way to access the problem. The customers' co-operation is essential since the exact knowledge of the machine and its past is necessary. After that the main part of the operation begins: Measurements are taken in order to track down the reason for the dysfunction. To do so all state-of-the-art-techniques concerning condition monitoring are applied to diagnose trouble such as bearing damage, gear problems, imbalance, misalignment or resonance problems.

The team is king

Tracking down the causes is one part of the operation. Certainly, the main focus is the elimination of the problem. The F'IS experts bring in their experience of the past years which has been achieved in measuring campaigns in all industry segments. This part of the operation also requires the customers' support since the customer knows his machine best. Together we form a team that prevents the recurrence of the problem. The solution might be to make changes to the construction of the machine or it might be to perform condition monitoring. If desired we, of course, provide a detailed report.
