Fitting of bearings with the help of Mounting Sets

A large number of bearings has already been damaged during the fitting procedure. Especially in small workshops where limited numbers of bearings are fitted once in a while, the tools used leave a lot to be desired. Knocking onto the wrong spot of the bearing with a hammer to drive it up the shaft is often the death sentence for this sensitive component.

The FAG sets of mounting tools offer a cost-effective and safe alternative for proper fitting. Also sleeves, spacers, seals and similar parts can be easily fitted without the slightest damage. The tool set comprises mounting rings and 3 mounting sleeves as well as a recoilless hammer. The perfectly matched precision components insure uniform transmission of the forces onto the faces of the bearing rings.
