Calculate your potential savings through the use of CM


Maintenance makes an essential contribution to preserving fixed assets. The calculator presented here compares a reactive maintenance strategy (without application of a maintenance planning system) with a condition-based maintenance strategy to determine the additional value contribution that results from the use of a CM system.

  • First, the costs of an unplanned plant downtime must be entered. These can be entered directly (selection field: "Enter total cost") or determined by means of a calculator (selection field: "Calculate the total from individual values").
  • The lost turnover due to plant downtime, the costs that would have been incurred for the additional turnover without downtime and the investment costs for a CM system are then entered.
  • The capital costs and the depreciable life of the investment can be varied using the selection fields.
