F’IS Multi-Point Lubricator Prevents Bearing Damage

Motion Guard Series Extended: New Model with Six-Fold Distributor as Mini Central Lubricating System – High Pressure for Long Feed Lines and Precise Preselection of Discharge Intervals

Herzogenrath, March, 26th 2004 – With the FAG CONCEPT6 multi-point lubricator, FAG Industrial Services GmbH (F’IS) is extending its successful Motion Guard series of automatic lubricators (“COMPACT” and “CHAMPION”). Combined with the suitable FAG distributor, the new efficient model can be used as a small-scale central lubricating system for up to six lubrication points. Its high pressure build-up of 25 bars max. ensures the constant, precise and temperature-independent supply of lubrication points in plain and rolling bearings, drive and conveyor chains, guides, open gears and seals, even with long feed lines. Another new feature is the variable preselection of discharge times, ranging from one day through to 24 months. The lubricator can be used at operating temperatures from -20 up to +60 degrees Celsius.

With its Motion Guard range, F’IS makes allowance for the fact that more than 40 percent of all bearing damage is attributable to insufficient or incorrect lubrication. This is also the reason why the Herzogenrath maintenance specialists recommend the proven rolling bearing greases of the FAG Arcanol series. These were developed in cooperation with leading lubricant manufacturers according to stringent FAG specifications. Comprehensive tests of each individual lot prior to filling guarantee the adherence to high, consistent quality standards.
