F’IS: Support Hotline for Vibration Analysis and Maximo Services from One Source

“First Level Support” for MRO Software’s strategic asset management system for F’IS customer base (at present in Germany, Switzerland and Austria)

Herzogenrath, December, 16th 2003 – Starting immediately, FAG Industrial Services GmbH (F’IS) can offer its customers the hotline support for MRO Software’s strategic asset management system (SAM) MAXIMO®, which is based on maintenance planning and control. With this agreement the two companies have decided on considerably intensifying their cooperation that has existed since 1998. MRO Software is the world’s No.1 provider of maintenance management solutions. Its MAXIMO® software represents a user-friendly and scalable solution for the planning, controlling, following up and analysis of maintenance activities for strategic capital goods and is successfully in place at some 10,000 companies around the world. As a “First Level Support” partner of MRO Software, the Herzogenrath service providers are now in a position to offer both vibration analysis and certified software services of an internationally proven SAM system.

The comprehensive F´IS product and Service offering in the field of Condition Monitoring ensures the early detection of pending damage. In this way, unplanned downtime and costly consequential damage can be avoided. A coupling of mobile damage diagnosis instruments such as FAG Detector II with the MAXIMO® system does not only simplify the recording of machine data but also involves a partial automation of the necessary maintenance steps after successful error detection. With the recent classification as a “First Level Support” partner of MRO Software, the F’IS experts for vibration measurements and analysis prove their competence in the selection, implementation and operation of advanced SAM systems and present themselves as a reliable consultation partner for maintenance management organization to customers and interested parties.
